Product Quality and Higher Standards

World leading product quality is our benchmark. We know you have high standards and so do we, everything you get is measured against international guidelines.  From extracting the oils in a dark room that blocks damaging ultraviolet light to double insulating our factory walls to create a constant room temperature, we do everything by globally recognised food safety standards. We believe in quality in equals quality out, starting from the raw materials so you know it will meet your quality requirements.  All our products are tested throughout the supply chain by independent laboratory to ensure it meets yours and our standards

Quality Assurance Programmes

To meet production standards and customer requirements, Midlands is focused on a high-quality production process and the highest quality assurance standards. Our purpose-built processing facility operates a HACCP based Food Safety Programme and is a certified food production premises, licensed and inspected under Food Safety Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) legislation. We undertake regular testing of our specialty oils and oilseed products to ensure our customers are getting top quality and value. Regular tests include microbiological and chemical analysis of all oils to ensure that quality is maintained. These tests are carried out by independent IANZ certified laboratories to ensure our products comply with the most stringent quality standards. Test results are available via a certificate of analysis, which is validated against our own specifications and those of our customers to ensure compliance with international standards in a wide range of markets. 

Thorough Testing

Testing results are available through a Certificate of Analysis (COA) upon purchase of our oil or as requested. These COA are validated against our own specifications and those of our customers to ensure compliance with international standards in a wide range of markets.  Generic Product Specifications are available on request prior to purchase for full details of our product quality assurance standards.

Quality Controls

We make sure nothing leaves our facilities without passing stringent testing. We are continually evolving our processes and changing to updated best practice that exceeds International Standards. From the planted seed, to the final product, we have a closed loop for in house production. This Food Security systems ensure our products are truly authentic and these controls help ensure the highest quality of all our products.

Traceability

As part of our commitment to food safety, we ensure we have clear lines of traceability for all our products. Working with our sister company Midlands Seed, we know where the seeds we Cold Press come from right from the seed being planted in the ground to the final product. All along the way we ensure that we are focused on a high-quality production process and the highest quality assurance standards.
