Pea fibre is milled from the hull of the whole pea (Pisum Spp.) It is ground to form a fine powder which can be added to a range of food products. This product is ideal for use in bakery goods, aerated products, sauces and dry drink mixes. It can be added to a wide range of foods to improve the nutritional profile. With an extremely high fibre content per 100g and a pleasant taste and neutral colour, it can be added to products to help boost the nutritional profile of products with minimal impact on taste and colour. Pea fibre can be added to increase volume, crispness and extend shelf life with increase water control.
